5 out of 5 stars Review & a Plan to do it!   December 23, 2009

Most all of us have good intentions to get necessary work done but somehow life gets in the way. The 5 steps to a 5 series allows you to choose a plan and shows you how to work your way through the material with the time you have. If plan A fails you can choose another time frame plan. The practice tests & essays get you ready, but you must actually do them to see if you know the material. This book is very good, you still need your class notes and reference materials when you encounter a subject that somehow alluded you. Strength is in depth of knowledge use this book to get there.

This really is a how-to guide to getting a 5 on the AP exam. Whether looking for a quick refresher prior to the exam or a year-long study book, this book provides curt, informative reviews on the entirety of US History, as well as study materials for doing your best on the exam. Arrived quickly and as described.

It is an amazingly good book with short paragraphs that tell you all you need to know! If your more of a detail kind of person than this is not for you. This kind of gives you the rundown of the important facts you need to know, and expects you to know the rest from the textbook you are using, which is good.

My daughter found this extremely helpful in studying for her first AP test. No results yet but it wasn't due to lack of good material if she doesn't ace it.
